kũira〈黒くなる〉より派生[1]。

Hutchins (1909) では Pygeum africanum のキクユ語名として M'Wère が記録されている[2]。

発音 編集

  • IPA(?): /mòìːɾíꜜ/（「モイーリ」）
最初の i は長母音である[1]。
Benson (1964) では声調クラスの分類は「クラス3」で、他に同クラスの2音節語幹語には kĩhaato、mbembe、kiugo、muku などがある。
